disposable hypodermic needle

a bag containing 72 25G x 5/8" disposable record type needles.

In the late 1950s the role of improperly sterilised equipment in the transmission of diseases was realised and the use of presterilised, dispoable needles was advised. In 1959 both the Cook-Waite Laboratories and The Roer Products Company produced sterile disposable cartridge syringes. These days many of the instruments used by dentists are disposable.
